   Automated earthquake-report data entry with Power Automate, built a pipeline to classify seismic signals, and kept 12 northern Alberta seismic stations recording.

   4 highlights

   • Built a Power Automate workflow with Outlook, Excel and AI Builder that processes up to 1,000 emails a week and extracts 9 seismic event attributes from Alberta EDGE notifications, removing manual data entry.
   • Built a seismic event processing pipeline in Python, ObsPy and MATLAB using the CATS (Cluster Analysis of Trimmed Spectrograms) algorithm, classifying 100+ candidate signals across 6 model configurations.
   • Georeferenced the Clearwater County map in ArcGIS Pro and evaluated 22 candidate sites by proximity to earthquake clusters, supporting the deployment of 12 seismic nodes around Rocky Mountain House.
   • Diagnosed and repaired power, telemetry and sensor faults at 12 seismic stations in northern Alberta for RAVEN, the AGS monitoring network, restoring data for earthquake detection.

   • Streamlined reporting schedules for 12 facilities across Alberta, BC, Manitoba and Saskatchewan in MS Project, working with 6 teammates to speed up reporting timelines by 67%.
   • Automated carbon credit forecasting by rebuilding Excel logic in Python with Tkinter, modelling credit usage and rollover over a 12-year period.
   • Calculated Scope 3 emissions for 1M+ BOE/day of production across Canada, the North Sea and Offshore Africa using GHG Protocol guidance, supporting ESG reports to external stakeholders.

   • Built a data dictionary of 1,863 unique fields across 20 Power BI dashboards using VBA macros, and renamed 114 fields for consistency.
   • Analyzed 1,048 passed and 93 failed projects for a regional audit, finding 2 inconsistencies that I reported to management.
   • Surveyed 200 people across 6 departments (30% response rate) on the navigation, look and data accuracy of Power BI reports to improve reporting standards.
